Good evening forum,

Im looking to put a comunication password on a HMI that im programing so no one can copy all the work ive put into it, but i honestly dont know where that option is, could some one let me know?   Cheers guys

Actually even if anybody backup image from the panel, he won't be able to edit it. 

In any case there is mode "secure mode"

You can set the password in control panel.

 So your saying that when i load up an image to a hmi (ktp1200basic) no one can download it?

 So your saying that when i load up an image to a hmi (ktp1200basic) no one can download it?

 With secure mode, you won't be able to change the transfer settings without password. 

And you won't be able to see the current transfer settings as well. 

Which means that it's possible to take a backup but it is too difficult.

Here's guys have password problems and they can't access the communication settings in the control panel of HMI.

if HMI install pasword, how to do backup HMI by prosave?
