I use S7-400H and i would lke to communicate with ET200M. That is why in the HWconfig I insere IM153-4 PN v4.0 from the catalog. My question is should I insere the DI & DO from the fourth emplacement or it is correct if I did it from the first one ???

If you mean to install the I/O modules from slot number 4, the answer is yes. And for the mentioned IM, you can install modules from slot 4 to slot 15. It can accommodate 12 modules.

Yes the attached picture of your HW config is correct.

You have to insert modules from Slot 1 to slot 12.
