ALL Expert have suggest about Auto CAD and Eplan i am also agree with them, but is there all conditions are satisfy ? asZeid Sinokrot wish like simulation mode? "Is there any programs that are used in drawing control circuits with: PLC, VFD, MOTORS, ENCODERS, SENSORS, push buttons ....and can put them in 3D and simulation mode?" |

Hi friend Jeff, Are you an old dog not learning new tricks?.. Siemens Automation and Drives actually owns a CAD company (actually it is much more than just "CAD"). This company gives away for free the 2D capable software. The catch is that you need to register (not really a hassle for most). The 3D capable software is not for free. Check... I prefer using this software over good 'ol Autocad.. especially because there is a legal free edition but also because of how it works Useful? Late note: Some other packages are available under GNU (free + open) licensing, but it has been a while for me seeing if there is anything worth mentioning. |

Old dog - yes Not learning new tricks - No, just wary enough to look at the new trick and ask "You want me to do that? Why?" THanks for the link, I'll check it out. |
