Wonderig if I could get some help. We have upgraded to Simotion TIA 4.4.0.11. However when we go to open a project created by someone else in the same version we are unable to open the SIMOTION Configuration. Please see attached picture for messages. Thank you

I had a similar problem lot of time ago, when TIA Scout was at the real first months.

If you have some G120s, try to delete all of them (you will reinsert them later) and try to open scout.

If this succeeds then close scout and insert the first G120, open scout, close it, insert G120, open scout, close it and so on.

This happened before SP1, don't know if SP1 corrected this or not.

If u don't have G120 then please post your Hardware config

which Operating System Do you use?

Try the following:

end TIA Portal

check in Taskmanager that no u7 process is running

start TIA and create new project

now start SIMOTION Scout TIA from the project menu

Do this work?

I have tried what you suggested but no luck. It will open Scout TIA but then error out saying the program has encountered an problem and needs to close. I have two computer with the same issue.
