You can monitor variable {axis}.servodata.followingerror.  This will be in mm's.  This is always active.

In my memory ,when acitive _enableAxisTorqueLimitPositive(),/_enableAxisTorqueLimitNegative(),the Following error monitoring is deactived.

I use this variable all the time to check the calibration accuracy of my flying saws where I torque limit when the product is clamped.
