How can I set (by Startdrive) the sinamics to activate the error bit (bit 3 of the status word) when the analog input exceed a certain value? Best regards.

You can compare your analog input value with a numerical comparator (NCM) with a limit value, which you can parametrize. With the output of the NCM block you can trigger an external fault, so bit 3 should become active.

So you can find them in the parameter view of Startdrive too. You have to change the access level to "extended parameters". There is an FAQ available regarding the free function block, where you can find further Information and possible additional steps and conditions if you are using a G120C or a CU250S-2. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/85168215
