in this simple sample, controller FB variables are automatically created on HMI tag table.

Project with a minimum configuration: S7-1500 configuration,

Configuration main steps:

• Create a FB on S7-1500 CPU: Project tree → PLC → Program Blocks → Add new block → FB: Name = Block_1

• Create a interface (inputs, outputs for the created blocks):

  • Project tree → PLC → Program Blocks → double click on Block_1 → inputs → add new → name = On, type = Bool

  • Project tree → PLC → Program Blocks → double click on Block_1 → outputs → add new → name = Status, type = Uint

• Create a instance DB for Block_1:Project tree → PLC → Program Blocks → Add new block: select Data block, Name = Data_Block_1, Type = Block_1

• Compile (HW and SW with rebuild all)

• Define rules for WinCC Professional tag creation: Project tree → Common data → SiVArc → Tag rules → < create new rule>: Tag table = HmiTag.DB.SimbolicName (click on “...”, type “H”, select “HmiTag”, type”.”, select “DB”, type “.”, select “SimbolicName “)

• Set the SiVArc relevant block properties: inspection window (under) Project tree → PLC → Program Blocks → double click on Block_1 → plug-ins → screen rules → create new rule: Program block = Block_1; Master copy of a screen = “MyScadaScreen” (click on “...” select the screen from Library → Master copies).

• Create a WinCC Professional application: Project tree → Add new device → PC Systems → Simatic HMI application → WinCC RT Professional

  • Add a IE general card to created PC station.

  • In network view, connect the IE general to S7-1500 PN port

  • In network view, create a HMI connection be WinCC Professional and S7-1500.

• Create SiVArc Objects: Project tree → HMI → right mouse click → Generate the visualization (SiVArch) → Generate the visualization (SiVArch) → Generate

Result: the “MySCADAScreen” is copied from the project library to HMI Screens folder
