I have testet the Smart Server Client connection. It seems that the Smart Client View Object has no automatic reconnect function.

But you sould use a Workaround.

If the Connection is lost you get the System message Nr. 230307. In the Systemmessages you could use the incominc event of this Message to set a Bit in the PLc then you could use a timer to wait for example 30 seconds and then open a the screen on the Panel again then a reconnect is performed:

I´ve tested it on a TP1200 Comfort and if i get the sytemmessage  (i use the SetValue systemfunction) i will get the Value change I want.

So for me it works whats wrong at your side
