I use an OPC-srever to get data trom a unit and data transferring runs correclty.

In WinCC V13SP1 Runtime I can't receive the value from the OPC-server. Connection is OK in WinCC Channel Diagnostics.

If I make the same configuration in WinCC V12SP1 then Runtime receives the data.

I tried before another OPC-server and unit and got the same situation: WinCC V12SP1 Runtime worked correctly and V13SP1 didn't establish connetion with the tag.

All the WinCC updates have been installed in both versions.

In addition...

If I add WinCC RT Advanced instead of Prof with the same settings then Runtime Advanced receives data from the OPC-server

Please see attached file with the installed software list. The OPC-server is local (installed on the same PC).

To run Runtime I do not download the project to another path but just start the simulation.

Then the OPC-server runs as a service and the connection to the remote unit is established (OPC-server receives data from the unit)

The OPC-server/WinCC connection in run is established also (see the attachment).

I make the same actions in WinCC V12, V13SP1 Advanced and V13SP1 Prof. Only the last one doesn't receive data from the OPC-server.

Which type of OPC server are you using? OPC UA or OPC DA

For OPC UA dont give any security for testing.

Few suggestion,

When OPC server is running, try to brows OPC server in OPC scout also and WinCC professional for testing.Modify the variables from Scout and see the same variable value in WinCC also and in OPC server.

Instead of WinCC Professional simulation , can you try with actual Runtime.

Also for testing purpose, check the WinCC  OPC server and brows in WinCC its self thru OPC channel .
