is it possible that OBT and OLM in the same ring ??

cosmetric Posts: 88 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone; I am trying to connect an OBT into a plastic fiber obtic ring. I use one OLM P12, ET200S FO, ET200M FO and OBT. I have connected them with each other and finished the ring. but I have seen there was a bus fault. is there anyway to connect an OBT into a ring connection I wonder if this. thank you..... cosmetric

Information about the OBT: The OBT (Optical Bus Terminal) is used to attach a single PROFIBUS node without an integrated optical interface or a PROFIBUS RS-485 segment with up to 31 nodes to the optical PROFIBUS. The OBT therefore provides the advantages of optical data transmission for existing DP devices. Manual SIMATIC NET PROFIBUS Networks

cosmetric Posts: 88 Rating: (0)	thank you friends... so I need to connect 2 or more OLM for ring and connect OBTs to this ring with a profibus cable with OLM... and also I need to connect this OBT with IM module(with FO).. I will use this connection style.. are you agree with me ???
