Hi all,

I have a plc program with programmed TIA V12 and i am using TIA V13 SP1 UP9.

I could upload the program with using compatibility mode. (link https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/82169157/in-step-7-(tia-portal)-v13-sp1-how-do-you-upload-project-data-from-a-device-that-has-been-configured-with-step-7-(tia-portal)-v12-or-v13-?dti=0&lc=en-WW )

After detecting plc and uploading the hardware, there are errors on the modules. You can see at the attachment.

What is the reason of the red exclamation? You can see the diagnostic buffer of one module in the attachment.

Hello,

1. Are you sure everything is wire correctly?
2. Are you sure you use the right firmware for each module in TIA?
3. If you insert an "Unspecified CPU" in you project and use "Detect" to upload the hardware configuration, do you get the same error?

                                       I think your sucessfully communicated plc to pc and uploaded the hardware same as program backup also. RIte .?

                                      can you check that upload hardware Configuration and installed Hardware are same .??

                                      In diagnostic Buffer status nothing is showing .?

                                      Can you able to go online mode in Tia Portal .?

                                      If all above is rite . Can You just configure your Hardware Configuration In new project and then Copy /Paste Your uploaded Project Blocks In new created Project backup . And then Download your PLC.

Hi Arasan,

Let me tell what i did.

I opened an compatibility mode project in TIA V13. Then add a new device, unspecified PLC, detect, a plc was found in 192.168.0.1 then upload it. The PLC and the other modules come to my project. Then i uploaded the software also. But when i go online there is an exclamation what i asked in my first entry.

I thought that maybe version of modules are old but it is not a good idea.

                                        You do one thing, the problem is your Local Expansion module .  

                                         So in Local module - You have to select one of your AQ ( Analog Output ) module , Click left mouse and select Online & diagnostic . 

                                         Kindly tel me in that you can able to see your diagnostic Message .??

You can see in the second attachment picture.

It is AQ4 expansion module and in online. In the diagnostic channel it says status is "unknown".

Check the attachment again pls, i did what you want.

Yeah it looks fine.

Also if there is an error in sliding pins from expansion module to before that, than the PLC goes to red alert. Right?
