Hello!

  We have two same control panels with following configuration - CPU315F-2DP master; slaves are IM 153-1 and IM151-1 HF with fail-safe modules.

  Windows XP SP3, STEP 7 5.5 +SP1 and Distributed Safety V5.4 + SP5 incl. Upd1 are installed on the PG.

  Problem have appeared on the control panel №2. The problem appeared is red SF on IM151-1, on its module 4 F-DO (138-4fb02-0ab0) and on the CPU are ON. The CPU is in RUN mode. There are F-blocks in CPU.

  In IM151-1 DP slave diagnostics are only “Slot 8 Fault” message. Diagnostic buffer of the CPU didn’t give me clarity.

Our actions:

1. Turned power of CPU and ET off, and then disconnected 4 F-DO’s digital output wiring. Then turned power on and all the SFs were gone. Then we connected wiring back and red SF have not appeared. However, several hours later red SF lights up again. We have repeated this actions several times until it has stopped to give effect: The SFs have become red permanently.
2. We have installed 4 F-DO (4fb02) from control panel 1 to control panel 2. Red SF have not appeared. On the contrary, after installing 4 F-DO from control panel 2 to control panel 1, red SF have appeared. Then we have made it all back.
3. I have replace module 4 f-DO 138-4fb02-0ab0 with 138-4fb03-0ab0 in control panel 2. First, I replace the module in HW manager. In F-parameters of 4fb03 the f_dest_address have remained the same as for 4fb02. Then I set DIPs of 4fb03 in accordance with f_dest_address in HW manager. Then I have compiled and downloaded HW configuration in the CPU and then installed the 4fb03 in rack. After restarting CPU red SF have appeared again. Diagnostic info was the same as with 4fb02 installed.

  CPU Diagnostic buffers for both control panel 1 and control panel 2 are attached.

  I need your advice at now, how can I solve this trouble?

In your diagnostic1.txt buffer Event nr. 5 of 10 says also Station 12  - address 2045 have you checked?

  Hello! The problem has resolved. I have installed another 6es7138-4fb03-0ab0 in rack. Red SF led gone out. Both 6es7138-4fb03-0ab0 are spare parts from warehouse.
