sunn7 Posts: 152 Rating: (2)	Hi all, Can anybody tell me 1. How to configure CP 342-5 as DP slave on a S7-400 (CPU 416-3 DP) Master network 2. and how to read and write the data from/to CP-342-5 I tried taking help from HELP in SIMATIC, but It did not work. With lot thanks in advance cheers Sunil

_njoy Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	You will have a problem if your DP master runs as DPV1, because 342-5 acts only in DPV0 systems. If you're forced to integrate CP342-5 into a DP system with DPV1 master, the only way I've found is to do it with a DP/DP coupler, 342-5 running as master. Data exchange is done via DP_SEND & DP_RECV functions, no matter what role 342-5 has.
