In WinCC flexible help I found a script wichcreates a file withspecified name "testfile.txt". Dim fso, MyFile Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Set MyFile = fso.CreateTextFile("c:\testfile.txt", True) MyFile.WriteLine("This is a test.") MyFile.Close I am wondering if it is possible and if,how can i makethe txt. file name dynamics.That means that I would like toread the tag(string) from WinCC flexible Runtimeand attach this name to txt. folder. For example: If the value of tag in WinCC flexible is 1234 the code should create 1234.txt file. Could somebody please help me!!!

biblodger Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hello : I have tried according the manual from that link, but when I enter the parameter manually, the VBScript will create a file as what I entered. That means if I enter " Tag_01" to the parameter manually, the file's name will be "Tag_01.txt" . If I use the automatic connection, it will be a empty file name, like" .txt", it is the same as manual. Is there anyone has the same problem ? What can I do to make the connection between the variable and the parameter? Thanks

I download the HF4 for wincc flexible, and this time, I select the variable from the automatic list. Everything goes well when I change the name of the file.( The maunal said that example is used HF3) In the documents of HF4, I saw that it fix the problem that some tags can not change the value sometimes, so I install the HF and now it's OK. Regards!

The code is: Set dat = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject") Set Datoteka = dat.OpenTextFile("c:\" &datum ".txt", 8, True) where datum is: datum.Value = Date When the script is trigered the file is created. The file name is the same as the date when the function was trigered.
