Hey,

i am trying to implement a Pulse in a SCL code for a PCS 7 function block.

The Pulse eather stays constantly on high or dosen't do anything,  

If i write my own timer with this function it works, but as soon as i implement it into the Code it stops working. The rest of the code works as it should. 

The variables are declared as followed.

TIM_5 : S5TIME;

biVal : Word:=0;

PULSE_RESET {S7_visible:='true'; S7_dynamic:='true'; S7_m_c:='false'}:BOOL:=0;

SET_PULSE   {S7_visible:='true'; S7_param:='true'; S7_m_c:='true'; S7_dynamic:='false'}:BOOL:=0;  

TIM_5 :=S_PULSE(T_NO:= T05, S:= SET_PULSE, TV:= T#5s, R:=FALSE, BI:=biVal, Q:=PULSE_RESET);

I think u should use Timer datatype and not  S5TIME for TIM_5. eg.

TIM_5 : timer;

SET_PULSE is declared as a input, PULSE_RESET as a output and TIM_5 under VAR.

I also tried  declaring TIM_5 with TIME and TIMER but then it gives me an error saying that this declaration is not allowed.
