Good evening.

I have step 5 7.23 running on an old machine with win xp, working perfect and im getting used to the system etc.

Today i have installed an virtual machine (XP) on my laptop with the same step 5 version but i can´t change to full screen so it fills the screen complete, it only gets a little bigger than the window version. Any idea to solution? I have checked some parameters with the old computer that fills the screen but everything is the same

in my opinion you must change the resolution of your monitor to 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.
You can't set STEP5 to a full screen mode, because the history of STEP5 is based on DOS.

You can try this:

- Start STEP5 not maximized.

- Right Click on the icon of the DOS prompt before STEP 5 in the upperleft corner of the caption bar.

- Select properties

- Open the tab page Font

- Select a bigger Font Size (like 28 of 36)

It's still not full screen, but the window size is more acceptable.

I can´t test it but check this Entry - perhaps it works also without Field PG...

How do you activate the Full Screen mode with STEP 5 on a Field PG running MS Windows operating systems?

I have higher resolution on the old computer and there it´s work.

But I have tested it out a little today and im getting use to it, screen is smaller but it feels a little "tighter" so I think I can live with this, thanks for all inputs btw :)
