I need help to develop an application using D445.. in which i need to create virtual master to which i send position and velocity and gear ratio and there are 3 salve with had to follow virtual master with different gear ratio. i have created 4 axis.

1- Virtual Master, 2-  Slave A, 3- Slave B, 4- Slave C. and assign synchronization block actual position  to all slaves. I need to know how to connect position and speed setpoint to virtual master and gear ratio to slaves.

I"m beginner please share some sample project with me or guide me.

your questions are inherent the basics of the motion in automation technology. You seem to have a clear idea of what you want :

1) Gearing three slaves with a different gear ratio

2) Move the Virtual Master to a "custom" speed.

Well, Sajid:

1) Search the help for the gearing command (I suggest to use MCC chart to launch it). In the gearing command, like happens for ALL the other automation brands (except Elau) you will be asked to input the gearing ratio. You can enter it as a Numerator/denominator or a real number (not the best solution this one).

2) Use the move command : you set the axis (virtual master), the speed, the acceleration and if needed the Jerk (o yes, also the direction).

There is no need to share any example since a very quick look at help and a small test will be enough...

Thank for quick response... It's really help full. I'm little confuse how will i transfer axis, position, velocity and other variable to axis.

Sajid, do this :

STEP 1:

Launch Gear command (supposing your master is stopped). Select Time mode and put "Immediate".

STEP 2:

Use the Jog command on your master axis, you will see in that command (use MCC, it's easier) that Speed, Acceleration and Speed profile are needed... Just fill all the fields.

Obviously this is "ok" if you want to move an axis and follow it with the slave in an endless movement.

Obviously what I wrote requires that both axes are enabled , with their STO and no errors, etc...

You don't need any example, mate, these are the basics of automation and you will save lot of time in trying it by yourself directly online, with Simotion...
