My machine is rotary knife and use to rotary knife application of siemens.

machine data is below,

1. line module is active line module, 380kW, 6SL3300-7TE38-xxxx

2. motor module size is 315kW, 6SL3320-1TE36-xxxx

3. motor is 225kW, 1PH8354-1FB1x-xxxx

4. One cycle length of knife is about 707mm.

5. sheet length Min.200mm to Max.3200mm

when problem happened cutting to short size sheet. less then about 300mm.

when cut to short size, motor is crying.

continuing cut is a bit better, but when knife is stop at after cut. motor is crying. 

increase to gain? or what can i to do? sir?

i am first time to this machine and using application.

Please, give me tips.

Motors dont' cry... Programers cry when motors vibrates, hehe...

Anyway it seems that you have a problem in the gains of your axis. Check if you entered the correct motor reduction in the Axis\Mechanic properties .... Probably you have to retune the motor (i.e. reduce the proportional gain of the motor) in order to not see it "crying" when it is standstill and enabled...

Check the axis limits for acceleration and top speed on the knife drive and make sure that those are set properly.

Cut to length applications are all about reaching the highest possible dynamics.

You can find your limits in SIMOTION under AXIS : {axis name} : Limits in the Dynamic Response tab.

I cannot tell you where to set tis since this is part of the design for your system as to what the system is capable of accelerating.  You can look at current during acceleration to see if the limit and the programmed rate can be increased.

If the motor is making noise at standstill, it usually means the proportional gain in either the position loop or the speed is too high.  First, I assume that you have done the tuning using the SIMOTION autotune for speed controller and position controller.  Second, if the motor makes noise at standstill, take your position loop proportion gain to a number half of the current value and see if this eliminates the noise.  If so, increase the gain as high as you can without motor noise.

If this does not eliminate the noise, do the same thing with the speed loop proportional gain.
