Dear All,

          We are using the System with S7 300 PLC and Having the remote IOs connected with ET200s and having analog input modules on the remote IOs . I would like to have a fault when there is wire break . I would like to generate this with the SFC51 blocks in OB82.

      I have gone through the SFC51.pdf manual and seen that to read the Profinet IO module status information we have to use the SSL-ID W#16#XY96.

      Can some one explain me how to specify the module number and channel to fetch the information of the particular module.

      If some one have Example program for the wire break fault pls share that.

My doubt is how to use the SFC51 and read the Particular wire break fault. Please see the Attachment.

INDEX- This is starting address of module. In addition, u have set MSB for output module.

Module status information is about whether it needs maintenance or it tells whether it is faulty. So wire break is not related to module faulty status. Better to compare IW with -20 or -50 for more precise reading.
