I've been using following SFB to work with CSV logs in S7 internal memory but internal memory capacity is very limited.

• DataLogCreate [SFB140]
• DataLogOpen [SFB141]
• DataLogOpen [SFB142]
• DataLogClose [SFB144]
• DataLogNewFile [SFB146]

I would like to know if is it possible to store CSV log files in a SD Card.

If yes, should I use Siemens SD card or other vendor cards are compatible too?

You mean that if I plug SD card, will data be automatically written there?

DataLog and recipes are stored in  the loading memory.
An inserted memorycard will replace (and increase) this loading memory.

So of course your datalog will be stored on the memorycard if you has inserted one.

I think now i have a clear idea how it works:

1. Siemens SD card should be used (other ones will not work)
2. Program and data are stored in same memory area (Internal or SD), it is not possible to store program in internal memory and logs in SD.
