probably problem with firmware, send it to service or if you you're familiar you can try do that. Look for help about update firmware in CPU. All depends also about version and firmware of CPU.

If you restart in theory should start running  normal for a while .( It is not mandatory)

Perhaps one of the following points might solve the problem:

1-Check the Back plane between CPU and Rack .

2-Check the connections.

3-Post the diagnostic buffer of the CPU.

4-Perform Master reset for the CPU.

5-Upgrade the firmware of the CPU.

Where can you find the latest updates of the operating systems for the CPUs S7-31x, IM15x and BM147?

6-Kindly have a look at the attached file.

I faced a similar problem with my 417 CPU.

I suggest you to remove the CPU from the rack and clean all the electric connection points and fix it back into the Rack firmly.

This worked for me last time.Try your luck!!
