I want to plot a trend which shows pressure vs position..
But the only available variabe is the time on the X axe, how can I change this ?

Please share about the software and its version that you are using and facing a problem.

If you are working with TIA portal, then there is a functionality / option to select the X-axis as time / point / tag value by setting in the property.

If you are using WinCC, there is an active X control / special functions called XY plot in which you can define the plot based in points or values, irrespective of time.
