Sinaut MD720-3: Changing between OPC mode & AT mode - problem

Beep-A Posts: 90 Rating: (1)	Hi people… I'm developing a SCADA application and have an s7-224XP station connected with Sinaut MD720-3 modem, and OPC server – Sinaut Micro SC. I'm working in OPC mode and I send data to the OPC server. If, for some reason, the connection to the OPC server can't be made, than I would like to switch to AT mode and send SMS messages to mobile phones. I'm using the SinautMicroSC library (v1.16), and the WDC_CONTROL function to switch to AT mode, but often the function returns the abort and error code 1. Error code 1 is general error and the description of the error is not specified. What could be the reason for this error? I have even removed all other program code to check that I didn't accidentally overwrite some common variables.

Just a few points i want you to check before you sent me the code: + Do you have the library routines in the correct sequence? init/send/receive/control + When you trigger "AT_command" and the error "1" is coming. is the modem disconnecting from the server (have a look to the LED´s of the modem) or is it still in GPRS mode + Please never trigger "AT_command" until the "Mode" of "WDC_Control" is "1".
