I'm getting some trouble in a project, I need to call an FB associated to a IDB, but I only have the number of the IDB.

According to this topic: https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/WW/en/posts/scl-indirect-block-call/77591?page=0&pageSize=10I realized that maybe it's impossible. Did you agree?

But the last message let a solution: use additional temporary DB lets call it Buffer. First you copy all info from required DB to Buffer (SFC20+ANY pointers with AT structure). Then you simply call FB50.Buffer();

That seem interesting, but I can't manage using ANY pointer on IDB. I know how to use on standard datatype, but here I don't undestand the documentation. Can someone give me example?

Hi colljori,

Such practice is not just complex but also useless. As FB parameters are diffrent, changing IDB can't take into consideration different input or output parameters. Also there is limitation of static memory about updating.
