Dear Members I want to use S7 1200 series PLC for a project having more I/Os than the CPU series can handle. Could you suggest me a combination using S7 1200 CPUs in Master/Slave mode? A sample project or an illustration would be highly appreciated ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

hi, yes, S7-1200 CPUs have an addressarea of 1kbyte which is completely in the process-image. An overview of the S7-1200 models you find in the s7-1200 system-manual, chapter 1: SIMATIC S7 S7-1200 Programmable controller hope this helps, regards, |

i have a confusion, please let me know if i am wrong or right. I have read the manual, process image area for input and output is 1kbyte i.e. 1024 Bytes. Does this means the CPU can have 1028/8=128 digital and 1024/8=128 digital output cards. Or We can define from 0-128 as input and output address. |
