unable to lock messages in WinCC with ALARM 8P blocks

marinb126 Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hi, i am using Alarm 8B block for accurately time stamping of messages from PLC to OS. Problem is when i lock messages in Alarm window (i am using WinCC 6.0). It can`t lock single message but the whole byte (it blocks 7 other messages that came in the same block from PLC as the one i intended to bloc). Is there any way to lock only one message with ALARM 8P blocks? I would be VERY thankful to any solution.....

ateam Posts: 170 Rating: (26)	hi, sorry it is not possible to locka single message of an alarm_8p block only. By default all messages of an alam_8p block are locked. You will find this information in S7 manual. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/1214574/0/en You canprogram an additional logic at the signal inputs of the alarm_8p block in the plc program tolock/unlock messages.
