hi, Parameter assignment-error means that you have errors in the HW-Konfig. have a look to this entry: What master/slave communication options are available on PROFIBUS DP? I´m pretty sure you find a right application sample that shows you the right way to configure your master-slave-configuration. hope this helps, regards, |

Thank you very much for fast answer. I'm confused because my plc has CP-343 module (AS Interface) and I can't find any example with that communication processor. I can't find profibus properties like in this samples you send me:

hi, AS-I is not Profibus. If you don´t have a Profibus-CP to communicate over Profibus, I think this application sample/FAQ may be the best : DP link between CPU 315-2DP (slave) and S7-400 (master) with STEP 7 V5.3hope this helps, regards, |

Thanx Jen. Event 8 of 10: Event ID 16# 5961 Parameter assignment error in CPU module parameters Parameter: module type Output address: 384 of the module with parameter assignment errors Error type: type ID not detected ID Operating mode: STARTUP (warm restart) External error, Incoming event 10:30:42.479 PM 01/19/1994 (Coding: 16# 5961 FF06 C17B 0001 0180 8B07)
How to set configuration in DP slave properties? Which adresses, unity, lenghts, consistency? |

Do you have some instructions how to set DP slave propperties, how to set adresses, lenghts, unities and consistency? |
