Cannot connect winCC to PLC

Sulung Bronze Member Joined: 5/26/2007 Last visit: 12/10/2025 Posts: 128 Rating: (3)	Hi, I have a standard pc install with winCC, i would like to connect it to my plc (319-3pn/dp) via ethernet comm. i configue my tag management to use TCP/IP from Simatic S7 protocol suite. but in status of driver connection i see my pc still disconnected from my plc. i could access my plc by ethernet from simatic manager (ladder). some one told me i had to use softnet. i install it, but do not know what the next step. could sme one told me what should i configure? thanks in advance

Also go the control panel and set PG/PC interface to TCP/IP. This will solve your problem. Regards Ajay G
