Hello, and what do you want to know from us? If you want to know sth about LEDs, you can look in the manual of the module Greetings |

Hello sara.rez; The manual Pittisplash has mentionned can be found here: SIMATIC Distributed I/O device ET 200M Basically, a BF (Bus Fault) LED indication means that the Profibus configuration on the IM 153-2 is not correct. What master is the IM 153-2 connected to (the master should also have a BF LED active)? What Profibus address has been set on the dipswitches of the IM 153-2 and does that address match the one used in the master's Profibus configuration? What modules are installed on the IM 153-2 rack and are any of them faulty? If you are connected to the DP-master with step 7 you can study the messages in the diagnostic buffer to find out what the BF LEDs correspond to. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
