no, thats not possible. S7-1200 CPU´s of the 1st generation (e.g. 6ES7214-1AE30-0XB0 ) can be upgraded until FW-V2.2 S7-1200 CPU´s of the 2nd generation (e.g.6ES7214-1AG31-0XB0 ) can be upgraded until FW-V3.x S7-1200 CPU´s of the 3rd generation, the actual generation (e.g.6ES7 215-1AG40-0XB0 ) starting with FW 4.x hope this helps, regards, The actual S7-1200 CPU are coming with FW 4.2 and are only projectable in Step7 V14. |
