Rotating objects

jkur Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Is there any way to rotate a 3-D gate valve in the Graphics Library of WinCC Flexible Advanced? I know there was a thread similar to this in 2006 and back then it didn't sound too easy. Has anything new come along since then? Thanks

When I select the gate valve and view the properties > layout window, there is no selection for orientation, only for position, size, and sizing. I have tried to open the graphic up in "Paint" in the .bmp format but I am unable to save it again as a .wmf. When I try to then drag the object on the screen in the .bmp format, the background is black, not transparent, and I am unable to then change it to transparent in the properties window for the modified object. I've tried to create the object in AutoCad and then exporting the graphic as a .wmf but I then lose the raster image that gives the sort of grayscale 3D look that is in the actual WinCC graphics library. Seems as though rotating the objects should be a feature or the objects should have a 90 degree rotated view in the library. Any Ideas? Best regards

The Body Posts: 836 Rating: (71)	You have to use a graphic IO-field without a scroll bar. The graphic list must be created by yourself. For each degree, you have to do an own entrie (graphic). Try to do use a bitorianted Graphic suite, such as paint.net: http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/en/RotateZoom.html
