Loading of archived data in Trendview slow down after connecting backup archived files

ianes Advanced Member Joined: 9/12/2007 Last visit: 7/8/2025 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello, The following is the system architecture: - one set of redundant servers (connecting to 4 units of S7-400H) - 4 Client stations - Both redundant servers running ok. Client stations able to switchover successful. - Version is WinCC V7.3 Upd5 Observation: Once active server (Server 1) is connect to backup file (swapped out data) in TrendView. The loading of archive data changed from 2 sec to 12 sec if display 1 day data. If display 10 days data, then it can take up to 32 sec to load the archive data. Meanwhile, the Server 2 (Standby server) is still refresh the data pretty fast. If I stop the Server 1 and Server 2 becomes Active server, the refresh speed back to normal. Now let's say I don't stop Server 1 and copy the swapped out data from Server 1 to 2. And connect the swapped out data then Server 2 behaves the same as Server 1 and refresh rate slows down. If I deactivate and reactivate Runtime, then back to normal. This system just commissioned for more than a week. In my opinion, it shouldn't slow down the system. My problem is that the path is correct. I open a Windows explorer and try to access the path in my server and everything is coorect on the Windows level. Can somebody help me ? Best regards ! Daniel

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello Ianes, have you write-access for this path, if you to it via network-environment (UNC-path) ? Means, can you create a new file there, with the windows-user, which is running WinCC. Regards Georg Berghof
