I am a commissioner, and I have always been engaged with cabinets for PLC, electric Drive, and Remote IOs. However, I have not found an exact and complete guide for designing the cabinets ever. May I ask if there is such a document available? I need sth practical and explanatory.

There are of course general rules. But because a cabinet can contain a variety of systems, you have to take into account the specific requirements of the used systems.

Each PLC model has an installation guide.
For example, for the S7-300 system, SIMATIC S7-300 CPU 31xC and CPU 31x: Installation.
The appendix A.2.4 shows a typical cabinet design being EMC compliant.

Regarding drives, in the engineering guide, chapter 2 describes EMC guidelines.
