Hi all,

I have a PLC S7-200, I need to send the updated software to a customer.

I have and EEPROM "card" for the PLC.

To send this "card" with the software to the customer, what are the steps?

I think I should put the card on the PLC here, power up the PLC, download the software, shutdown the PLC, package and send the card. Am I correct?

Can I find somewhere an official procedure?

The most concise source of information for all S7-200 matters is this document:

S7-200 System Manual

You will find inn attachment the procedure to write to and transfer from the memory cartridges of the S7-200 (from Chapter 4).

Please also check the restrictions on the use of memory cartridges in Appendix A.
