I have to print the content of a PDL

I'm pretty new to WinCC and have been searching through appropriate manuals for the following problem: I want to read in a .txt file in to my report and later be able to launch and print it from my application. As I understand it I can call the RPTJobPreview function from my script butin the .RPL file I don't know what object to use to link it to my .txt file. I tried OLE Element but didn't get it right.....:( Please give my a pretty detailed description. Regards Mårten UP! Hello, I have got the same problem. I have to print the content of a PDL. Among others there is a TextBox control with scrollbars on that PDL. That TextBox contains a few line of text coming from a TXT file. I don't know how many text lines are in the TextBox. How can I print the content ofthe TextBox (or of the TXT file)? Regards, Nicolas

nicwincc Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello, Thanks for your response. I have tried the following: "In RPLs you can link a .txt File using a CSV-Provider Table. Your data-source (txt-File) has to provide the output data in the CSV-format. For detailed Information see WinCC Online help" I put a CSV Provider Table on my RPL and made the link to my txt-file. I also tried with a self generated csv file, and an Excel generated csv file. In all cases, one empty row is printed on my report (files are not empty!). I tried to use file fonts and component specified fonts. What did I wrong? Regards, Nicolas.
