Change number of I/O points on a Function Trend Control

I want to change the number of points used in an XY Function trend. I can change the SourceNumberOfUAValues in runtime with a script on a button, but this does not change the trend window. After I enter the configuration in runtime and change something (eg the label) the new value is activated. With an Online Trend control there is a Property Command which you can set to activate the new settings. I cannot find this with the Function Trend Control Regards, Pim van Os

It does apply the new number of points. I want to collect the last 5 or 100 measuring points from the archive and show them immediately on the screen. This is the way if you change the properties in runtime and apply these with the dialog box.

Are youhandling the FreezeProviderConnections properly? Before the change this should be set to 1 and after the change reset to 0.
