I just got the WinCC Sm@rtServer For SIMATIC Basic Panel key, and i wane try it. I went to “Runtime settings” “Services” and finked “Start Sm@rtServer”. I uploaded it to my KTP700 Basic PN. When it was started I saw on my screen “License key is not available. WinCC Sm@rtServer for SIMATIC Basic Panel.”

But that is weird because I activated it using Automation License Manager.

Did I do something wrong? Or missed I something?

 It needs to on the Panel, not the PC.

You have to tranfer the Sm@rtServer license to the panel.

You can use Automation License Manager:
