For this you have to set up a data log only once.

In the LOGO! program, you must integrate the data log block and parameterize it.

The data log does not log automatically. The data log block has an enable input. If the state at the enable input changes from low to high, a log event is carried out. There must be a break of at least 500 ms between each log event.

So you need to explain in more detail what you want to log exactly when.

Continuously every x seconds or x minutes or at a certain event?
Or only at a certain time?

This Data Log loggs every Minute the state of I1-I8, Q1-Q8 and M1-M8.

If it is not guaranteed that there will be at least a pause time of 500 ms between the state changes of the inputs and outputs, the logging will not work properly.

Example:
I1 has just switched to high, 450 ms later, Q1 switches from high to low. The pause time is not long enough, only the first event will be logged.

The edge evaluations are used to initiate a log process for incoming and outgoing events (as you wish).

I'm assuming that I've shown you the basics and you can now set the data log for your own purposes.

You do not seem to know:

In a log operation, not only the state of the operand that triggers the operation is logged, but of all the operands specified in the list of the data log.
