Hi all

I have a 315 -2dp (6es7 315-2ag10-0ab0) connected with Profibus DP to a siemens touch panel (6AV6545-0BA15-2AX0). 

I have never used WinCC flexible before.

-Can this be done using WinCC flexible and step7 professional (not TIA)? Or is it better to use with TIA?

Im using an mpi lead to download from laptop to cpu/hmi

Hello David,

another important thing in case of selection your 315-AG10 CPU is it's firmware version. Firmware 2.0 and lower can be programmed only with Step7 v5.x and not with TIA! Also important thing is that you can't upgrade firmware to higher version (to f.ex. v.2.6) that is available in TIA.
