Guess what you could have found with a few quick clicks., searching for "S7-300 totaliser block" for example, using the Search box at the right of this page? How can you add together physical flow measurements (mass flow rate, for example) to a total value in STEP 7 V5.x? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

With PROFIBUS configuration, you've directly the instant value and the totalized value. By wiring you've to program the signal you want on the Promag display.

Piotr.M Platinum Expert Joined: 6/24/2013 Last visit: 9/17/2025 Posts: 1696 Rating: (433)	Also it is worth to mention accuracy when doing totalisers over long period of time - when you add a + b where a>>b and if 32-bit real is used you may end up with rounding errors where calculation will give a+b=a! in such cases use 64-bit real.
