Hi,

Im fairly new to the Siemens PLC and HMI, but found it easy to use with very good support on the forum, solving quite alot problem that I faced before. Im currently using  S7 1200, CPU 1215C DC/DC/DC with KTP700 Basic Hmi. For the software im using TIA Portal V13 SP1.

Now what Im trying to do is related to recipe download, where in my application I want to check if a recipe is loaded first before starting operation, and if not a reminder pop up advice to select and download the prog. So far using the recipe view function, i can get recipe no/ or recipe name from the recipe data record tag. But this gives SELECTED RECIPE from drop down list. But what i need is info on the LOADED RECIPE, so i can use the info accordingly. I have seen some asking question on this, but i dont understand the solution as some use either diff software. Hope some one can guide me on how to obtain this info to the PLC so i can make the necessary logic. Thx in advance
