problem with communication one of s7-300 with one of two INAT OPC

My factory has 5 S7 PLCs connected to RsView via two INAT OPC serwers. OPC no.1 is for workers, OPC no.2 is for servis engineers and sometimes for workers when OPC no.1 is down or update. Here is my PLCs: no.1 CPU414-3DP + CP443-1 no.2 CPU414-3DP + CP443-1 no.3 CPU315-2DP + CP343-1 no.4 CPU315-2 PN/DP no.5 CPU315-2DP + CP343-1 +CP343-1 (both Advanced-IT) All works fine with PLCs no.1-4. I have problem with communucation with PLC no.5 - it's only communicate only with one of OPC servers - that which started first. OPC has the same configuration with all PLCs (using RFC 1006 connection), with TSAP 0303 for s7-400 and 0302 for s7-300. Only one difference I can see is that PLC no.5 has 2 ethernet modules. First (in slot no.4) communicate with local part of machine, and second (slot 10) for OPC. Company who sold us that part of machine with PLC no. 5 didn't solve that problem, thay have supposed that it is problem with OPC configuration, but I don't thing so, because communication works fine on condition that only one of OPC's is started. Please have a look how many S7-communications you have reserved. Perhaps it is possible to set this to a lower value. To get some free resources. Because I think your CPU doesn't have enough resources to communicate because they are reserved by PG, OP and S7-communication. Probably there is just one free communication resource. The one that started first is getting it. The other one is the loser Best regards, Wizard

Here are settings from communication tag: PG communication: 3 OP communication: 3 S7-Basic Communication: 8 Maximum number of connection resources : 16 It's look like there is only 2 free resources, so maybe you're right. I'll try to lower that values when machine will be stop. Thanks for help :) regaards goblin
