I need to control a low accuracy closed loop hydraulic positioning system.

I have a 0-10VDC demand signal and a 0-10VDC feedback signal, when they are the same the output should be 5VDC, for one application or the same as the demand for another.

I've been trying to use the PI Controller Block but I can't get it to work.

Do you have any example programs?

A Valve controls the actuator, 0V is full speed one way, 5V is stop and 10V is full speed the other way.

Lets say the demand is 6V and the feedback is 4V, the output should be 3V or 7V (2V either side of stop) depending which way the actuator should move, a gain would be applied to increase the error to make the actuator move quickly until it gets close to it's demand position and then slow to stop in the correct position.

When the demand and feedback are both 6v, or any voltage, the output should be 5V.
