CP 343-1 Lean Error

Metal_Kain Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, First, I have a PC and a CPU 314C-2 DP with a CP 343-1 Lean working on Industrial Ethernet. Now, I have this CPU 312 that I want to connect to the Industrial Ethernet so I connected a new CP 343-1 Lean, I configure the Hardware (CPU 312 + SM331 + SM321 + SM322 + New CP 343-1 Lean), it is compiled with no errors but when I download the configuration both SF led (CPU and CP) turn on and both devices are stopped. Only when I delete de CP from the HW configuration and download it, the CPU goes to Run again. I don't understand what the problem is. Could you help me please. Best regards.

Metal_Kain Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi, Yes, there was an interesting thing I could read the CP bufferusing the ethernet connection but I could not read the CPU buffer. Using a MPI interfase the CPU buffer was read but the CP wasn't. This was very confusing so I tried using a brand new CP but the result was the same; it seemed like there was no connection between the CPU and the CP that's why I tried replacing the black bus connector in the back and ....... eureka!!! .... it started to work. It seemed like a very small issue but I never could imagine the bus connector was defective. Anyway, thanks for the support. I hope this experience can help to anyone with this very confusing trouble I had. Best regards.

Then for some "inexplicable" reason, there is a new post on 22/5/11 that adds very little new insight. Now I wonder why that might have happned. Maybe there is some sort of "event" on at the moment.
