i'm using FB cam create in simotion 

in that i'm having some issues 

if i create cam by manual means its working fine 

but cam created by fb cam create having some problem for same values (i'm using same master slave relation for  manual and fb cam create ) but there is different in axis movement 

finally i noticed some difference between two cams 

in manual cam  if segments overlap,wins =chronological sequence 

in FB cam create if segments overlap,wins =starting point (master axis)

now i need to change it .i don't know how ?

i can change in uploaded fb create cam and download. but if i write something (change values from simotion ) means the if segments overlap,wins also getting changed to old.

i don't know what parameter i need to write for if segments overlap,wins =chronological sequence

if chronological sequence means my application working fine ...if its starting point(master axis) means there is different in axis movement 

can anyone tell me how to overcome this ?

Hello,

You are right, the FB cam create is resetting the cam with (default) option “Segments after the segment starting points”.

There is no chance to change this default setting in the FB cam create on your own.

Can you try to create the cam disk without overlapping segments?

What is the use-case creating the cam disk with overlapping segments? We have at the moment nobody else that requires such a feature. You can also write us a E-Mail.

Yes i understand even i don't know clearly about segment overlap

but if i let it as default in Cam generated by FB cam create means ...the axis movement totally different from what i want 

so that only i started checking about cam created by cam tool and cam created by FB cam create 

finally i found the different in segment overlap ....

after that i just changed manually and download then its working fine 

but i kept default means its not working

but most of time i need to change master and slave relation so at that time also its getting change to default means i can't use this 

otherwise i need to think about other way to define master and slave relation but its also little bit difficult for me 

so that i need to know how this segment overlaps working ?

now just see my master slave relation

                          260               10 or 25 or 50 or 100 (will change this value frequently )

Master axis is external encoder with modulo enabled for the range of 360

following axis is real axis 

so if master evaluation is in absolute 

following axis evaluation in relative 

i'm not define any overlap in my cam previously  

can you tell me how can i define my interpolation points?

I think you want to create a cam disks out of 4 cam profiles in which the first two points are the same points and only the last point(master = 260) is different to the others.

You also want to switch between these 4 cam profiles frequently.

Using the cam create FB you need to define 4 separate cam profiles for one cam disk.

1. camProfile:

Master  Slave
0           0
190       0
260       10

2. camProfile

Master  Slave
0           0
190       0
260       25

3. camProfile

…

Do NOT define all interpolation points in one camProfile.
That would lead to your previously described problem with overlapping of points (4 points at master position = 260).

260       10 (place must be a variable ) I mean it’s size of the product it’s starts from 10 to 100....operator will set it as what he wants ....if I can change this single element from fb cam create also  enough for me 

so that I’m trying FB cam create 

othrwise  I just create some no of cams and switch between them
