if I understand correctly you operate the Servo drive with function module EPOS (basic positioner) and you want to set the position of the drive with a digital input? This is what I guess - your description is not so clear as there are many "actual values" inside the drive.

If I am right you can do it as follows:

The position can be set by the function "set reference point". This is parameter p2596. The parameter is locked when you have selected telegram 111.

So you have 2 options:

1) set the bit for this function in the telegram from the PLC (it is Bit 1 in POS STW 2 - this is the 3rd word in the telegram 111). Then you could have a digital input at the PLC.

2) you change the telegram setting from 111 to "free telegram configuration with Bico" (p922 = "999") and then p2596 is not locked anymore and can be adapted freely. Then you can connect a digital input signal to the Control Unit (e.g. interface X133.0) and use this signal (in this case r722.0 of the Control Unit) for the connection at p2596.
