Axis object in simulation mode

DavidBrown Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	I know you can put a Simotion axis in simulation mode : you can start and stop the axis while no hardware is connected. The behaviour of the axis is configured by a Pt-filter. Is there someway to programm this behaviour yoursel, not to use the Pt filter for coupling between setpoint and actual value, but us an own programmed model?

So, I am more thinking of writing some DCC-code in the Sinamics integrated that refers to the adresses of the axis : more specific : ● TypeOfAxis.SetPointDriverInfo.logAdressIn ● TypeOfAxis.SetPointDriverInfo.logAdressOut ● TypeOfAxis.NumberOfEncoders.Encoder_n.DriverInfo.logAdressIn ● TypeOfAxis.NumberOfEncoders.Encoder_n.DriverInfo.logAdressOut Could that be a way to a solution?

DavidBrown Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	What I want to achieve is not just simulating with a PT-delay element as it is standard when activating the similation mode of the axis, but I want to simulate my real load, that is a hughe weight with a known inertia and damping factor. My real axis is a hydromotor rotating over a single turn a bucket filled with liquid cupper. As I said, I suppose if you activate simulation mode of the axis, you cannot replace the PT-element by your own function. So my idea was not simulation mode, but programming something in the Sinamics Integrated.

For the encoder you can use "Encoder value via system variable". TypeOfAxis.numberOfEncoders.Encoder_x.encoderIdentification=SET_ACTUAL_VALUE 3.5.9 Encoder value via system variable http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/99007017 Then you can calulate the actual position depending on the speedsetpoint of thehydraulic axisin the Simotion and do your own simulation.
