If for example A1.1 is to zero logic, it is not possible to force a one logical. Then, the forcing, is a funtion dedicated only to inputs, I say good? Thank you Roby

Palmerita Posts: 102 Rating: (13)	Everything depends on inputs and outputs from who From the PLC (lets say from a VAT, or directly from the program) you can only force an output, inputs cannot be forced because they depend of their own value. What I understood from your question is that you are tryng to force an output already programmed in your PLC. You can do it, as long as the condition/s that affects it (turns it on or off) is/are not active. But maybe what you mean, is that you can connect (physically) a source of 24 volts directly to an input, and not to an output, then you are right... I hope I am not confusing you

You cannot modify inputs nor you can modify outputs which are already programmed in logic. Practically, besides inputs, you cannot modify variables assigned to output coils. Also, PLC must be in RUN-P position (for older CPUs) . Regards, Pandiani

Please search for: "Forcing variables" and "Force values" You can force inputs and outputs. When you force, you can see at CPU, because FRCE led will light up. Best regards, Wizard

I can force to ONE the outputs(A) that ARE NOT PROGRAMMING in the plc... if i have a output programmed, and plc scanning the read to zero, i can not force to ONE ..... there's nothing to do!! I'm using a cpu 313C and the step7 v5.4 + sp3 + hf1, but i think that not important.... Best regards Roby
