Dear Experts I am having a S7-400H(412-5) system in profibus communication with ABB ACS550 drives and  Emerson Delta V DCS.

My configuration is as follows.

From Redundant CPU(6ES7412-5HK0G-0AB0)(v6.0) profibus cables goes to Y-link(6ES7153-2BA70-0XB0).

On network of Y-link 9 Nos of ABB ACS 550 drives and a DP/DP coupler(6ES7158-0AD01-0XA0)(V3.0.1) is connected.

My baud rate is 1.5Mbps, and I have used DP/DP coupler release 3 GSD files in my system as well as DCS system.

All ABB dives are working fine on profibus .

The problem I am facing is I am able to send all Data to Emeson DCS through outputs of coupler

but they are not able to write data to my system.

what can be the issue? 

find the attached configuration setup.

In the configuration of slot 2 (in your screenshot) you cannot have a single range of 128 bytes if slot one is defined with a series of distinct sections. The definition of the screenshot below is that the configuration structures "must be absolutely congruent" between Slot 1 and Slot 2 (same size and type).

Therefore, Slot 2 should be defined in exactly the same structure as Slot 1, taking into account that inputs of Slot 1 are inverted to outputs of Slot 2 (as you have tried to do).

So:

Slot 1-------------> Slot 2

8 Bytes IN------->8 Bytes OUT

16 Words IN----->16 Words OUT

etc...

 Dear Sir,

I have taken 64 words as input and 64 words as output.

Siemens<<-------------------->>Emerson

64 words-------------------->64words

64 words<---------------------64words

we both have taken the same frame but here in case of emerson DCS they dont have numberd memory area like us insted they have slots and signals.

e.g

When I insert frame of 64 word my hardware will show me the numbered area,in this case Q620...747 and I620...747.

Now of this memory area I can make words,bytes bits or Double words.

like I620.0,Q700.0....,IW 620,QW700 ,ID620,QW640....

So i have made this type of words of bytes as per my program requirement like for valve status to dcs I am using Q620.0 and for motor current I am using QW500...

And in case of emerson DCS the name is SLOTS..

Here they are having 1 slot of 64words configured as input and 1slot of 64words configured as output from GSD provided by us and in that slot instead of memory area like us they  have to insert signals.

Siemens-------------->Emerson

Q620.0

.

.
Q620.7------------------> 1 signal of 8 byte

QW630------------------> 1 signal of 16byte.

Here I am able to send that Data to Emerson correctly as thay have exectly replicate the signals as per my configuration.

now when they want to send data to us, i have considers all my input  signals as bits 

means for I620...747  it will become I620.0 to I747.7.

but  as this didn't  work. we have done following..

Siemens ---------------------->Emerson

64words------------------------>Slot1(64words)In that they have set their signal as per my output(shownabove)

Siemens <----------------------Emerson

1Byte <--------------------------Slot2(1Byte) 

Still they are not able to send data to us.while our data is getting received by them perfectly.
