Connection Error between St-1200 and KTP 700 Basic

Maverick85vr Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello. I hope You can help me. I've a question about the connection between a PLC ST-1200 and an HMI KTP 700 Basic. The ST-1200 is phisically presents in my net, but te HMI is only defined on Tia Portal and is "virtual"...I need only simulate it and connect it to the Plc. How can I configure correctly the connection between them? I've tried and the HMI compiles and connects fine to the Plc, but when I try to simulate it, I obtain an error "Connection Interrupted:Hmi_Collegamento_1, station 192.168.0.1,rack 0,posto 1". Please, someone can help me? Thank you!

How should i configure this interface to simulate correctly the virtual HMI? I've to choose PlcSIM or Ethernet interface? Thank you for your support. Good evening.

Maverick85vr Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello. Thank you for the answer. Yes, when I simulate the virtual HMI with "real" CPU, I choose the Eth Interface that connects my FIELD PG with the CPU St-1200. When I start the simulation, a message on the HMI first page told me the connection is interrupted. IP address of the real CPU is 192.168.0.1 and the IP address of the Virtual HMI is 192.168.0.2. Where am I doing wrong? Thank you.
